To be honest, I'd rather they stuck with tradition and revert back to standrad idents after the concert tonight. It creates a bit of normality and I like normality after Christmas!
If we're just to go back the Oneness idents, can we keep the gorgeous Christmas presentation through New Year's Day like the 00's presentation.

Oops, I didn't know Epiphany also existed in England (nothing in Scotland though).. but it's less of "a big thing" compared to some countries in Europe, so that the the "Twelfth day of Christmas" is ignored by media
The UK doesn't celebrate anything on the 6th of January (unlike Italy with Epifania and Spain with El Día de los Reyes); it would've been a bit cool to have an extended Christmas period until the 6th of Jan, with channels going back to normal pres on the 7th

Is anyone else confused and surprised that tonight's Nile Rodgers concerts are being presented by Roman Kemp? Nothing against him but surely such a prestigious slot would normally be presented by a lead BBC presenter in the past.

Well, it's been nice having decent idents for a few weeks, but I think we'll be back to the Oneness rubbish tomorrow

And the fact that festive specials air on New Year's Day including David Walliam's 'Grandpa's Great Escape', the second Christmas special of 'Mrs Brown's Boys' and repeats of 'A Christmas Carol Goes Wrong' and 'The Highway Rat'.
NYD is firmly within the Christmas holiday so I never see why they go back to normal on this day. Should be the following day at 6am
