BBC Oneness - idents and presentation

My prime suspect is a new CGI globe.

There has to be something positive about Coronavirus and if it kills off Oneness, that is a blessing!

In 2002 on Good Friday, BBC1 Dancers were introduced - so you never know!! Bring it on!

Which sounds lovely after three years of wobbly blank stares.

A new CGI globe? Surely not. It's too good to be true.

By far the best BBC One branding of the last decade was pip2's 21st century take on the globe he posted in the Galkery.

We don't want them to film anything, as that suggests real life elements to the idents which we don't need right now. A simple, CGI element and graphics around it, just like and complimentary to BBC TWO would be a much welcome change, and improvement, in the current circumstances.

First of all let’s calm ourselves until we see each other, secondly, if there is something it may only be a temporary measure until we see the end of social distancing and oneness returns; however adding a positive spin oneness was believed to be temporary so who knows.

How long did it take them to make those animated January idents a few years ago?

My thoughts are that they may have found footage from the filming of the current idents without the people in them.

Just a possibility.
