I was just in Los Angeles and I didn’t see a better-looking overall package than this there. Maybe NBC4 looked better, but you hardly ever see the anchors on set, they are seemingly always voicing over stories or promo graphics.
It's an underwhelming derivative of various local TV news packages from the US. But that is about standard for Australian commercial TV.

SVT's Aktuellt has now moved in to the same studio, and received a fresh look in line with what Rapport received at the end of last year. I haven't seen it on YouTube, but you can watch the first broadcast here.
There is also a behind-the-scenes tour of the new studio on YouTube (in Swedish):
On its 50th anniversary today "svt Rapport" (main evening news of the swedish public television) received a new studio und design:

As part of SVT's revamp of its entire news operation, SVT Aktuellt relaunched this week. The programme is, to some extent, the Swedish equivalent of Newsnight.
With Morgon Studion [Morning Studio] (earlier in 2019), Rapport [The main news on SVT1], Lokala Nyheter [Local News], Sportnytt [Sportsnews], Uutiset [News in Finnish], Nyhetstecken [News signed for the deaf] & Kulturnyheterna [Culture News] now all refreshed, the only remaining element is the shorter Rapport bulletins on both SVT1 and SVT2. Strangely they still haven't relaunched, meaning we have the old theme continuing to run on them, but I'm guessing they should have made the change by next week.

An interesting video with some background on the new studio. It's in Swedish, but gives you a flavour of the set and technical elements of the studio. The interview features Niklas Wollheim - one of the men behind the new look. One point he makes, which is quite interesting, is that he wasn't inspired my news sets of competitors or neighbours. Instead, much of the inspiration came from the recent refresh of France2.

Absolutely staggering how BFM/Altice have pulled off a mini network of local news channels in four French markets in the last few years.
The two local channels were originally going to rebrand without Altice buying any shares in them as part of a strategic partnership with Groupe SECOM, however they now own 45% of both being a minority shareholder.
Grand Littoral TV for those who don't know France is a local channel covering the Nord Pas-de-Calais region, which includes Calais, Boulogne and Dunkirk.
