I just love the very 1970s feel of this 1977 TVE (Spain) opener:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=23LIaqOmpVA

Same network three years earlier (1974); the opener is already in color, but the rest of the newscast isn't:

Assorted 1970s and '80s clips of France's FR3:

The 1986 opener from FR3 in France (features a helicopter in the opener -- unusual for a European network):

A very psychedelic 1975 opener from TF1 in France:

Same network, ten years later:

Alf: I'm a bit hesitant to post here after essentially being told to get lost by two users, but to answer your question: A few weeks ago, there were two RTL4 news clips from the early 1990s on YouTube, both of which have apparently been removed. I know that TV Ark used to have a clip (the news opener) from that period as well, so hopefully we'll get to see it again when their International section relaunches.

BTW, thanks to dandan87 for his kind words.

I'd ignore those posters who tell you to get lost - they are trolls who have nothing better to do with their time.

At least your posts are welcome and legit ones, unlike those currently being posted to the boards by two "members", Mojo6 and Naygray...
