KCPQ, Q13 Fox Seattle, Wa, U.S.A, 2020. KCPQ was recently bought by Fox Television Stations, Inc as part of a trade where KCPQ and WITI Fox 6 Milwaukee, Wisconsin, were acquired from Nexstar (who bought the Tribune Broadcasting group, which owned Q13 and Fox 6) for the WJZY-WMYT duopoly in Charlotte, North Carolina. Q13 and Fox 6 would end up adopting the new Fox O&O graphics. Both stations' first day as an O&O was March 1st.

Here's the 1989 Loma Prieta / San Francisco earthquake as it happened live on television -- the picture begins to break up at the 4:17 mark as the tremor hits during the World Series:

I've seen the coverage from a San Francisco perspective before, but this is the first time we've seen the coverage from a East Coast perspective as this recording is from WABC-TV New York who were utilising sister station KGO's reporters while dipping in and out of network. In the early stages, you'll see network crashing into Roseanne, then WABC opting-out, back into Roseanne and then a ABC News Special Report.

Edit, it appears to be KABC Los Angeles who also have an Eyewitness News.

All major ABC O&O's used/use Eyewitness News format/name and of course with the famous Circle 7 logo.
KABC - LA (currently titled Channel 7 Eyewitness News)
WABC - NY (currently titled Channel 7 Eyewitness News
WLS - Chicago (currently titled ABC 7 Eyewitness News)
KGO - San Francisco (currently titled ABC 7 News)

Just to clarify: KGO never used Eyewitness News because the name was already taken by Group W's KPIX. (Group W and ABC were both early adopters of the name and format.) For a long time, KGO's news was branded News Scene:

KPIX dropped the Eyewitness News brand in early 2013.
