If this is the one they used for the big premiere, I dread to think what the others are going to be.

This image is from 2009, apparently.

Even just changing the curtains to red would add something to it which is identifiable as BBC One.

Meanwhile BBC One Scotland continues with Christmas trails and idents. Didn't they get the memo? Or are they simply boycotting this trash?

EDIT: apologies - although they aired Christmas trails, they did show the dancers into Graham Norton.

NI and Wales had the same, but please someone cap the Wales ident off the iPlayer if they can as the CA introduced them with the following:

"Mmm - no, I haven't got a clue either. I quite liked the balloons myself."

Amazing on several levels.

BBC One Scotland used the same as Network.

The idea of a "symbol" is most certainly dead.

You can tell a focus group has been involved here, involving real people as that will make the BBC feel more for the people blah blah. Wait until the blatantly obvious over the top PC elements no doubt sneak in.

What - policemen working on computers?

I hope that isn't one as there is an ITV ident pretty much identical to that image.

Or roadmen taking the streets - with street language in the background.
