It's so bizarre that there would be two Breakfast shows shown every other week with a different presenting lineup and production team. How wasteful! The Daily Mail would have convulsions if that was in the UK.....

It's not a perfect solution but if they came up with something that is dual branded or not channel branded at all then surely that would be more efficient? Aren't ARD and ZDF paid mostly via a TV Licence?
Also, what if you liked one programme and not the other? You would turn over and watch another channel that is on every week as opposed to every fortnight.
