Interestimg. I definitely see the similarities between VTM's and ITV's sets. I wonder if the virtual set introduced by Germany's Sat1 a few years ago was designed by the same company. It's not mentioned on that website, but it bears a strong resemblance to ITV's virtual set:

I'm also not surprised that BDA worked on both the BBC's sets and Denmark's TV2 -- I've mentioned how BBC-like TV2 looks:

Meanwhile, Australia's Nine Network introduced a 5PM weekend newscast in a surprise move today -- a time slot occupied by Ten's weekend news until last week:

In regards of protests in Egypt, you may have seen some footage from Egyptian news bulletin at least once. Well, that look was designed by Luxlotusliner, a German agency who also designed Arte Info and everyone's amazed Polsat News.

Found how aston works, but couldn't find opening headlines.

And, a shocking fact:
It was BDA who designed ITV News' current look and Het Nieuws' new look.

Some of you may have seen my post in the 'Vintage/Current News Presentation' thread. In it, I mentioned that VTM News in Belgium is launching its new look on Monday. Today, newspapers over there are printing images of the new studio - and
it reminds me a little of ITV News, but with a better design
... obviously
If only ITV could do something like this...
If only ITV could do something like this...
The new look did launch on Monday. It's been well received mostly. I do like the music despite it being a less authoritive tune. The studio is okay, but I'm not sure whether its any better than the previous one.
Heres the 1pm Bulletin:
