BTW, note the resemblance:

There is a reason for the similarity, as whoiam989 mentioned several months ago:

Made by Red Bee and another British agency called Luckycoin Films, apparently.

Earlier in this thread, Nelosen Uutiset in Finland was shut down and replaced with HS Uutiset , a two-minute update that runs in the evening by Sanomat which also owns the Helsing Sanomat newspaper (the "HS" in HS Uutiset). Here is how Nelosen Uutiset signed off for the final time, with the background saying "Thank You. 1998-2014"

Eek - some 'interesting' virtual sets there. Why do VR set designers insist on making their VR models all shiny and reflection based when the one thing that most basic VR systems don't allow for is a realistic reflection of the live camera shot of the presenter. It massively emphasises the 'fakeness' and also makes it look like the presenter is floating and not anchored to the virtual floor.

It's really obvious on the Saxony standing shots. Wonder if they are using the Brainstorm system that shoots you in a static long shot (with a 16:9 camera rotated through 90 degrees) but then lets you do all sorts of virtual camera moves? Also you end up with set lighting done by graphic designer not lighting director - so it all looks a bit 'odd'

The Thuringia studio is just odd - VR that's not even trying to look real.

The Saxon - Anhalt studio, which looks to be the only real one, looks a lot nicer to me.

I was more shocked that the newscaster saw fit to wink at the end of her news bulletin. Wink (in the first video)
