Nice catch! I always thought that Israeli and Georgian styles of news presentation were similar, but I never noticed how "similar" they really are!

I'd go as far to say they are the same. The colours, the transition flares and the smooth motion is too close even to be a shamless steal. The only difference is one uses the animation sequence slightly difference.

I wonder if one was a custom made opener, and the other one is using it on 'syndication' with the local language lettering being the only real difference.
Very nice and slick opener though.
