I didn't know that, so she must know about politics then!

Before 'Tonight' Christine use to do all the political leg work for Richard and Geoff. I f anybody saw the behind the scenes documentary about Calendar on Channel 4 some 6/7 years ago would see her at work at a party conference.
What has happened to Alan Hardwick?

Yes Alan Hardwick left YTV - just about a year ago - although some taped docos ran after he departed.
He's on BBC Radio Lincoln at lunchtimes. You can see him at work on the studio webcam.
He'd grown a beard last time I saw him....

There was me thinking this was going to be the week Peter Levy returns to Leeds to cover for Clare Frisby going on honeymoon, obviously I put 2 and 2 together and got 5 as it was Tom Ingall
I won't say 'it looks like he's doing all week' because last time I said that Clare was back the next day!

Why on earth would C4 screen a documentary about YTV's p**s-poor news programme?

Quite. I think it was more a case of "Let's take the mickey out of a regional news show" documentary. I saw it and it confirmed everything I thought about Calendar. They just haven't moved on have they? It's like regional TV in the 1980s. If they did more news rather than having so many daft stories they might win back a few viewers. Let's hope Duncan Wood improves things!

Yeah, Calendar hasn't had its titles and set changed for ages!!! These were introduced in 2000 and since then neighboring Tyne Tees have changed the set of North East Tonight four times and the titles three times!!!
Mind you, Calendar isn't as bad as London Tonight, who haven't changed their titles since 1999 or Border whose Lookaround programme had the same titles from January 1993 to September 2001!!!

There's nothing wrong with that
I'd say that that was more of a problem there isn't any need to update the studio and set that often
