While I still have the chance, can I thank WW Update for starting this Topic/Thread 14 years ago... I've possibly wasted months of my life watching TV bulletins from the past because of this Topic and many that I might never have found doing my own searches. One of the best bits of TVForum IMHO.

And the final weekend editions of CTV News Windsor and CTV News Vancouver Island. Both bulletins were scrapped as part of company-wide cuts made by its parent Bell Media.

This might be (one of?) last post from me in this thread (and possibly on the entire TV Forum), but here it goes...
From early this year, the network edition of NVL on Noovo, a Candian French language TV network acquired by Bell Media (which owns English language CTV network) last year.
By the way, as promised during acquisition process, Bell Media has set up an in-house news division of Noovo, and will launch a newscast titled Le fil on 29 March this year. Here's a special feature (correct?) released ahead of the official launch:
And Noovo will air a special titled Le défi de l'info on 22 March at 10 PM Quebec time, providing an extended overview of their new news division.
Press releases (in English) from Bell Media so far:
Jean-Philippe Pineault to Lead V Newsrooms in Québec as General Manager, News and Information | 17 June 2020
Noémi Mercier, Lisa-Marie Blais, Michel Bherer and Meeker Guerrier Announced as News Anchors for Noovo | 2 December 2020
Noovo’s News Show
Le fil
to Debut on March 29 | 3 February 2021
Noovo Info: Introducing Bell Media’s French-Language News Service | 9 March 2021

Im really liking the look of Le Fil. The bright white indutrial loft look. Its not like they are completely inventing the wheel. They can leverage some news sources from CTV National to fill out their broadcasts. So i hope this works out for them. Seems like a good effort. Feels like a Quebecois version of FranceInfo. Open newsroom, bright white, modern and simple clean graphics (what we have seen so far).
