From Singapore: The main new programs of Mediacorp's two other non-English language channels rebranded and debuted in studios of the new headquarters at the end of Feb 2017.
Suria channel (Malay) - Berita - debuted on Feb 27, 2017 <old vs. new graphics>

Vasantham channel (Tamil) - Seithi - debuted on Feb 28, 2017 <old vs. new graphics>
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vSxhq99M_Mc
Mediacorp's Channel 5 News (English) and Channel NewsAsia (English news channel) will also rebrand and move into new studios soon.

Seithi has used the bluish studio previously used by News 5 for years. Channel News Asia has been in their then-new studios outside the Caldecott Broadcast Centre since 2013.

The Malay, Mandarin and Tamil news at the new headquarters have their own shared newsroom (TV, radio, digital) and own studio located inside the newsroom.

A typical closer to one of Japan's early evening newscast Minna no News; very quick, some happy talk with all the presenters, wardrobe credits at the bottom and finally some live shots from the beauty cam (or "tenki camera" as it's called). This closer is only shown in the Kanto region while other regions do their own thing after the main national news segment.

TV1, Berita RTM, 1991:

TV3, Buletin Utama, March 1991:

TV1 and TV3 have the same clock sponsor in the early 1990s. They use mechanical clocks until the mid 1990s.

Both newscasts air at 8 pm and were half hour long. Later in the same decade they became one hour long.

Berita RTM's opener looks more like JRT Dnevnik in the 1970s to me (the text and logo zoom out thing). RTM recycled the same globe film animation from the previous opener from pre-1987 (https://youtu.be/CRTN2K2w078?t=13) and the bluish starry animation used as the ident back in the day (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eMK_eobEgZw). Both are possibly imported from foreign country. The label pins (related to government campaign and are much like the Circle 7 pins) are a common sight in the 1990s, but nowadays used sparingly.

The Buletin Utama opener is original and possibly one of the earliest 3D animation graphics in my country. It's also used for their English newscast.

TV3 news late 1980s (openers mixed with bloopers):

The first person you see in the video is Mahadzir Lokman, one of the earliest personalities of TV3. I met with him in person and was featured in Majalah Tiga, a documentary programme. I'm the one wearing blue shirt and jean textured. It's an hour long feature on autism aired in April last year.

Berita RTM, final edition, TV1, 1987:

If you look at the newscast in the link below, the reports from Kuala Lumpur and Johor are on videotape but the Penang one is on film. The foreign news reports are labelled as from AVN/EVN (Asiavision/Eurovision). (They don't do it nowadays). The graphics are simple and nowhere as advanced as other countries (not sure).

The map graphics are off slide scanner and the font used is Gill Sans. They still use the map graphics right until 1995 (replaced by an electronic one) which can be seen on the last two links below:

Berita Dunia (world news), TV1, 1994 and 1995:

The lower third graphics feel like CNN and more corporate. They use them to the 2000s.

TV1 airs at least one report from CNN in their world news segment of the 8 pm news in the late 1990s, but voiceover in Malay (from memory).

Buletin 1:30, TV3, 1997:

I have a passion for TV videos from my country. Unlike other countries, there aren't many videos on old Malaysian TV on Youtube other than the ones related to celebrities or entertainment.

Still about the post above, here's a picture of Buletin 1:30 from the late 1990s from one of my country's newspaper's website:

I'm more into the presentation of TV3 Malaysia in the late 1990s, the decade I was born where I get interested with their presentation and get interested in broadcasting.

How many national news channels does France have now?

LCI - TF1 Group
CNEWS - Canal+ Group.
Franceinfo - France Télévisions (PSB)
BFMTV - NextRadioTV

International news channel France 24 is also on TNT. (French Freeview).

France 24 is available on TNT only in the Paris region and in the overseas territories of France. (In the overseas territories of France, France 24 is the only available news channel on the TNT, and anyway the overseas TNT offer is narrower than Mainland France's TNT offer)

There are also two local news channels : Grand Lille TV and BFM Paris, both broadcasting on TNT in their respective areas.

A news bulletin from Grand Lille TV. Their visuals are so yuck…

Also, thank you very much Hazimworks for this post about news presentation from Malaysia! Smile

All are FTA. CNEWS and BFMTV are in HD, Franceinfo is SD on TNT and Fransat, while in HD on pay tv platforms. LCI is SD and used to be behind a paywall before DSO.

Not necessarily a presentation video but one of a monkey going crazy on a local news set.

And a dog dragging the same veterinarian off the set:
