I knew he started at the BBC but I didn't know he was also at ITN (before or after the BBC?) before his current stint.

Was nice to see Al & Nina hosting the 6.30, they have brilliant chemistry, they should present together more often.

I saw Angus Walker reporting on a story for the Lunchtime News a day or two ago. I hadn't seen him in ages. Hadn't he moved abroad? When did he come back?

He's freelance. He's based in either Sweden or Denmark.

Oh right, has he been popping up doing reports in the UK for a long time? I don't watch ITV News all that much, so I might have missed him.

Just read what I've linked and you'll find out.

Alastair Stewart has just tweeted that Mary Nightingale is taking the Evening News solo next year.

Meanwhile, Chris Ship is new Royal Editor and Nina Nannar is Arts Editor (long-time coming for Nina!)

So this marks an end to double-headed presentation on ITV News then... seems a shame, I always liked the interaction between presenters.

Some good appointments here and well done to all three. I liked double presenters and was hoping Alastair would return to the 6:30PM News but Mary is more than capable to present as solo anchor.

I wonder if we will see any other changes and new correspondent roles?

If Chris is taking that role, what will become of Tim Ewart, also will there still be a deputy political editor.

Ewart is in his late sixties, b.1949, I'd expect he's on the brink of retirement.
