Well... at least
I
see what you did there, Rofters!
On the basis of something as miniscule as a comment that I don't follow that you (apparently, yet there's no proof of) do, it amazes me how someone could go to such effort with their post as upload a photo of a canon occupying about half a full page of a thread discussing pres, not about childish point-scoring.
So what that is first play out? also when did that sting get played out?
The first Bhangra sting was shown just after the local news.
Except for viewers in (or people recording the feeds from) Wales and Scotland
I don't think NI has shown the sting yet either (but at least the main ident was played out at the 7.00pm junction yesterday without the dreadful audio glitch which afflicted Network's playout).
The framing is really bad in Bhangra, just as it is with many of the others. The action's taking place in the bottom half of the screen, which is even worse because that's where the logo is.
As with many presentation geeks here, I have no interest in these idents.
I don't think the composition is terrible, Parr is photographing them as environmental portraits - as a photograph, they work.
What gets me is the sloppiness though, a couple of rucksacks chucked on the floor - why not just kick them out of frame? They add nothing to the story. I accept the Fire Exit sign would take a bit longer to remove in post, but probably by only a few minutes.
I'm sick of the zumba class on the iPlayer, they love using the most annoying ident (though they're all annoying) for the iPlayer sting. It's not as jarring as the Capes sting of before
