This has been posted on TV Forum before, but with Iran in the news, it may be interesting to revisit this English-language Iranian newscast from before the 1979 Islamic Revolution:

NBC is changing what they air when they aren’t feeding network programming. This slide starts 10 seconds after programming fades to black.

Worth noting that a day later they decided not to use this slide until further notice. Instead they’re back to feeding black/no audio.

The 8 pm news on Valencian regional channel Á Punt got rebranded as "20H NTC"… and the new intro is full of computer chips…

Also, the headlines sequence is very long, even by Spanish standards: nine minutes! At this rate, it's as long as a news bulletin in itself…

I'm surprised to see the countdown at the end of the hour, I didn't know it existed!

And I thought the BBC were bad. Is the local channel government funded - they seem to have spent more money on that headline sequence than That's TV and Made have spent on all their local channels since they launched?

Does anyone know why Spanish headline sequences/cold opens are so long?
