I bet there's at least two tickers missing from that video too.

Indeed. That clip does seem a bit underdressed in terms of tickers and flippers. This one is more like it:

Speaking of the ARD network of broadcasters, we've seen the first color edition of SFB's local news, Berliner Abendschau, in another thread:

Here's an even earlier edition, from 1966, marking the 2500th edition of the broadcast, with another behind-the-scenes tour:

Berlin's SFB has since merged with neighboring Brandenburg's ORB to create RBB, but Abendschau -- serving the Berlin portion of the viewing area -- is still going strong:

Busy day for Brazilian television today:
Globo relaunched their morning newscast, Bom Dia Brasil , with a new set, replacing its 8-year-old predecessor, and its first all-new opening sequence in 12 years, with a new remix of its theme (as usual for Globo, heavily synthesized):

On Band, there was the premiere of a new local morning bulletin for São Paulo, called Bora SP (which loosely translates to "Let's Go São Paulo"), co-presented by Joel Datena (son of Brasil Urgente presenter José Luiz Datena) and Laura Ferreira:

And on regions without their versions of the "Bora" franchise (today also saw the launch of "Bora" newscasts in Paraná, Rio Grande do Sul, Minas Gerais and the Paraíba Valley, in São Paulo), Band has a semi-national newscast, Notícias da Redação ( Café com Jornal , which occupied that timeslot, 7am, moved to 5am):
