That has to be one of the worst TOTHs sequences I've seen, and it seemed deliberate.
Normal titles fading in to a shot of the reporter just standing waiting for it to finish (I assume also waiting for World).
I was about to post the same thing. The graphics crashed, also.
They should have just run the World News ones.
Edit, they now just crashed out of Mark Mardell's report for no reason.
For some reason, I get the feeling that BBCNC gallery only has two types of opening, the regular short ones and the long ones... but they don't have the copy of the opening used by BBCWN. I wish they just ditch the long ones because the video is not in-sync with the music anyways...
I'm sure they are, but it's not the kind of thing that can be rectified instantly if the titles need to be reanimated, especially as they're not made in house.
"Okay, you know what would look really cool... we could hack to bits a perfectly decent set of titles just for the sole purpose of shoehorning in a pointless pan of the newsroom, it would look clunky and we'd probably have to change the music and put some violins or something in... or even better... leave the opening as it is, and use the Newsroom Pan as the End Titles instead."
I know what I would have picked. The BBC Ideas Derpartment strikes again.

But they weren't perfectly decent before - they were awful, and still are on BBC WN. A horrible mess of things flying about at varying speeds that goes on for about twice the length it should. The current titles do away with half of that and work a lot better in my opinion.
