Maybe the Newsroom Camera is still being serviced
Extended opening titles there, is there anyone on location?

11AM is a presenter change over so maybe it's also a director change over and the weren't informed that it was operating again. Or more probably it's just a simple mistake.

It was in use yesterday evening too. Personally I would assume that it's out-of-useness for several hours yesterday is more likely to do with the rehearsals apparently taking place in C than any maintenance issues which were only the suggestion of a forum member.
Maybe the directors are being given more freedom to experiment with the TOTH sequence.

I caught the one at 3pm, and it's basically the camera starting behind one of the screens and then moving out so you can actually see the set. This was presumably something we'd of seen a lot more if the Smart glass was still in use, as without it you just see a grey behind of a TV and then suddenly set.
EDIT: Also looked at the 2pm on iPlayer and it was just a very slow move from a more side-on angle to the desk than normal.
Some great new shots of the studio at the TOTH being used. I'm away from a computer so can't catch the 3 o'clock on iPlayer restart I'm afraid but there was also a good one on this afternoon's one o'clock news.

I really like the one they used at 3PM a bit ruined though by the mess up on the Screens behind Emily though.
There are 3 roof cameras in Studio C and at least 2 in Studio B, 1 in Studio C is used for Newsday. I don't think they can move but I think they are more for use for the crew than presentation wise, there used to be 2 in N6 that were Fish Eyed and were called something like Sneak Camera. I seem to recall that they were the cameras you could see when you sat in the boardroom at the News Centre if you went on a tour. But in Studio E I think there is only one for The Papers.
You can see them in these pictures:

Is there not a few roof cameras like in N8? Also it would have been a good idea to have a roof mounted Furio like Global TV have, allowing for some creative shots and some more floor space.

There is as it's been used on the papers a few times when they only have a paper copy. I think there is also one in Studio C which is used on Newsday.

Think you'll find the 1500 cam shot was a mistake.
Apart from that hour, all the others have been exactly the same as normal.
