Can we please cease this ridiculous argument for once and for all? This is a discussion on TV, not on topography.

For that reason, I replied to huddy's post by PM and I will also reply to Katherine's silly idea of having an Emley Moor relay in York by PM.

Please, people no more of this squabbling, I beg you!!!

I'll leave you to watch your precious BBC Yorks and Lincs and YTV, if you leave me to do the same with BBC NE & Cumbria and TTTV.

Now back to discussing BBC Yorkshire and Lincolnshire and Yorkshire Television...

While it will be great to see Peter back, it does seem that there are people already in Leeds, who, if given the chance could do the job just as well.

Tom Ingall has done a great job on the Breakfast and Lunch bulletins.

I'd like to see Danny Savage especially given more of a chance, I think he does a really good job. He has a great personality, and manages the self-opt studio very well.

It took Ian White long enough to get on the 6.30 programme, I wish management in Leeds would look further affield sometimes.

according to http://www.bbc.co.uk/england/looknorthyorkslincs/ian.shtml Ian White is management in Leeds

There's more to Ian's job than just reading the news though. He also produces news programmes and is part of the "Look North" management team

WILL LEVY BE TEMPORARILY BACK IN THE LUNCHTIME CHAIR? LOOKS LIKE IT, DOESN'T IT?

InTune, care to clarify the situation?

Well, I wanted to do it - but I can't, maybe one day soon.

As for the big guy himself - You`ll have to wait and see, though I did say he would be making a return appearance soon. Wink

I await with baited breath.......

And also does this return extend to Breakfast as well, will we see the return of such levyisms as "BBC Radio Leeds on the air right now and throughout the day"

Will Look North be reclaiming the title of most entertaining breakfast bulletins from Midlands Today?!?

It's a pitty John Boyd isn't taking a week off as well!

well wasn't one of his funniest partnership with Penny Bustin as well

Now where does his current Look North Hull partnership rate for banter compared with all his Leeds co-presenters

Top of the tree, although Helen's a bit gentler with him than Christa was!!

Andrew, I'm really happy for you that you're going to have the chance to see Peter and Paul again - when Peter confirmed it by e-mail to me this afternoon, I thought "I bet Andrew will feel chuffed by this news!!"

Savour each second!

Yes indeed, at least until Hull Look North is available on Sky!

Calendar now, and they may have realised that Geoff Druett looks daft in the soft set at lunchtime, as he did it from the bulletin broomcupboard today

Jason McCartney did Calendar News and Sport from a bulletin broomcupboard today

So I think it is Peter Levy live from Leeds this week and then a new look Calendar the week after

2 weeks would seem an awfully long time to take a set out of service and build a new one. Most of these changes are usually turned around within a week or even a weekend.

If it relaunches a week on Monday and not tomorrow, I'm expecting a radical overhaul.

Its not exactly the same preparation for a new look like they get on Central News at Six ( West Version ) is it!

They'd have promos and dominate half of the preceeding Friday's programme to the new look!

Well they've started with the trailers, I only saw the end of it which featured the billboard poster, and telling us its coming on Tuesday May 27th.
