I think he's roughly the same age as my dad plus/minus one year. My dad's 56.

You say about giving him a half hour programme, well I would have thought he'd get that eventually in Leeds when Harry Gration retires, how old is Harry Gration thesedays anyway?

It will be presented by Charlotte Leeming -
Not a new presenter but the new Charlotte Doney.
That'll be unusual to get used to as people on TV often keep their old names, is Clare Frisby also going to be going by a new name or will she be keeping her 'distinctive' name for TV..!
Was it during a mid life crisis!

Is Clare Frisby returning on Wednesday, or is it a bit more of Tim Ingall?

I always like to think I had some bearing on it, even though I probably didn't. I voiced my concerns over the partnership splitting up to Peter at the Great Yorkshire Show in July last year, and then I hear a week later that Peter was going to do the gig!!

Well "Charlotte Leeming" did do the Breakfast and Lunchtime Look North today, there was a complete lack of banter compared to yesterday. Notice the name caption that they use during breakfast bulletins, they still put it up yesterday, as if anyone doesn't know who Peter Levy is
And on tonight's Calendar it seems to be an all female programme with Christine co presenting with Gaynor for some reason even though Geoff was there at lunchtime. The three sub-opt presenters were girls as well as it seems are most of the reporters!

I take it that Duncan's imminent arrival will see Geoff go back into retirement then from Calendar.

Firstly, Paul Hudson will be appearing at the Carrington Steam Rally (off A16 between Boston and Spilsby) this Sunday. Anyone who wants to see the Hudmeister in all his pint-sized glory should aim to attend the event from mid-day onwards.
Observationally, I've noticed that Emley and Belmont shows are using the same letters to read out at the end of the show (Emley) and just after the weather (Belmont). Amber-Leigh's mum's letter about wanting to meet Paul was read out firstly by Peter on the Belmont show earlier this week, and today Amber-Leigh's mum's letter received a second airing care of Christa Ackroyd!
Humorously, did anyone see the composite picture made by some graphics whizz at Look North that saw David Beckham's new corn-rowed hairstyle transplanted onto the head of Peter Levy on Belmont today? LOL LOL LOL and LOL again!!
Oddly, Emley replicated this joke idea on their show. Instead of Peter Levy, they put Beckham's hairdo onto Paul's head instead!!

Well until John Shires came on and stayed for the whole rest of the programme
Well to the role he had during Mike Morris days, holiday cover etc and making regional documentaries such as 'The Crew'
Talking about Duncan I noticed a new longer 30 seconds long version of the trailer earlier today with the line "Keeping in step with the news from your region!"

Talking about the trailer, I noticed a few differences between the billboard poster in it and the real thing (you know I really should be revising instead of posting pointless coments about minute details of YTV trails, but anyway...). First it doesn't have the "new look" written over the word Calendar, and it doesn't have the ITV1 Yorkshire logo in the bottom right corner.
Anyway back to finding other pointless distractions for me, la lalalalaaaaaaaa.
