Well they've started with the trailers, I only saw the end of it which featured the billboard poster, and telling us its coming on Tuesday May 27th.

Yes "Christine is stepping out with her new man"!

Can I make a request to anyone with a tv card and access to YTV to try and make a capture of this and to be on standby for next week and also possibly make a few captures of the current temporary look on the soft set

Notice no voice over on the Calendar titles tonight, and nice for them to show a The Buzz trailer just before it, does Gaynor get a week off this week then!

Look North live from Leeds with Peter Levy

Yes he was back on breakfast, Lisa said it was nice to have him back on breakfast and Peter said she was looking radient.

There was no local radio plugs though, maybe the Radio Leeds etc slides have been taken off the server as Clare and co don't use them

Then at lunchtime he and Paul were reunited actually in the same room with lots of banter and off camera laughs

Peter's just in Leeds for two days from the banter at lunchtime, not a full week.

Anyone have any ideas about the Have I Got News For You comment before the Emley weather?

Hmm... I might ask him for clarification on that.... anyway, I had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming about it!!

Paul Hudson remarked that Peter didn't look a day over 80!! Oh, and Paul's going to be at the Carrington Steam Rally near Boston this weekend!

Is Clare Frisby returning on Wednesday, or is it a bit more of Tim Ingall?

Oh dear I'm not going to be in tommorow, I suppose I'll have to tape it if its a two day wonder!

Following today's lunchtime programme with the response from the public via e-mails and copious banter, there will probably be people thinking that they were mad to split up this double act in the first place!

But they haven't split it up exactly have they. It lives on at 6.30pm to half of the Look North region every night.

You just became Christa endowed and we became Levy endowed.

You know, I am missing the Christa Ackroyd/Peter Levy shows like mad, wish there was some way to have just a few more from time to time... perhaps Christa and Helen could job-swap every two weeks!!

They are only via a plasma screen or whatever though Katherine says its just as good but until I see it myself I'm not sure if it is. I'm still worried about what will happen when Hull finally splits and gets provision for a weather person in the studio!

And as Paul said on today's show, all of his West Yorkshire based 'rinsers' think he's retired!!

We still don't know who's decision it was to move him to Hull

And Eastern viewers are probably missing Christa as well, after watching her present the main teatime news since about 1990

You know, I'm worried about that too, but probably in exactly the reverse way to what you're worried about - I am totally convinced Paul's gonna stay in Leeds with Harry and Christa and that the 'cult' partnership will eventually be no more!

However, it might be that the offer of continuing the 'cult partnership' might just be too good for Paul to refuse, they're onto a good thing so why end it? Additionally, I am not sure that Paul and Christa get on that well....

I'm pretty certain that Peter just outgrew lunchtimes and wanted the challenge of spreading his wings having a full half hour as a natural step in career progression. From what I've heard, Peter is extremely happy and content in his new job and is getting on like a house on fire with Helen Morton.

Peter Levy was IMO being under-used in Leeds. He is an extremely good newsreader, has a fantastic work ethic, very dedicated and is a credit to Look North. He has proven he can hold together a full half-hour programme with great competence. I assure you, we Belmonters are keeping him in great condition for going nation-wide via Sky! Hope you agree when/if in time, you see that for yourself!!

And then theres the radio that he (practically) gave up as well I'm surprised that he has kept with his once a week show after decades of doing it at least five times a week (add your own innuendo there) that meant he got to interview stars and celebrites

You say about giving him a half hour programme, well I would have thought he'd get that eventually in Leeds when Harry Gration retires, how old is Harry Gration thesedays anyway?

More funny banter again today this lunchtime, I bet Peter finds it funny being in such a l a r g e studio!

So who is it for the rest of the week then, Clare, Tom, Danny or Charlotte?
