I noticed this morning they had the small graphic in the bottom right hand corner instead of the GMTV Today breakbumper when they returned from the break, looks alot better.

Good to see the presenters getting out of the studio too.

Any idea why there is a break now at 650/655 before the final item?

How long do they need for a changeover on the sofa?

Who is that woman reading the news this morning? It sounds like she's pleased to be there... Rolling Eyes

For all its faults i do think that GMTV is turning itself around. The content seems to be a lot better and now of they would only relaunch the titles, graphics and studio then i think GMTV may be making headway in regaining viewers trust and appreciation. Lets see what September brings!

I watched about an hour of it this morning and I've not watched it for a long time. It was a big improvement. Last time they were celebrity obsessed but this morning they gave a fair bit of coverage to particular news items (most notably British Gas) as well as mixing in the real life stories they used to do. The only bit of celebrity stuff I seen was at the end with Katy Hill.

It is a lot better and it has turned itself around to some degree. I expect the changes will only get better ...

Also, Kate's looking well these days isn't she? Last time I seen her she looked like she'd been dragged through a hedge backwards. She was very drawn and looked like she had a mop on her head. Good improvement there as well ...

I was thinking that myself. The show seems to be trying new things, and be improving editorally aswell, but is it all because Martin is on holiday whilst Fiona is?

Are we any closer to finding out whether or not GMTV will relaunch in September. I really don't think that they can get away with doing nothing. The onscreen graphics really can't wait any longer to be changed. Where did this exactly come from the the relaunch was being cancelled?

So, what are we expecting from GMTV on 1st September?
Relaunch or no relaunch. That is the question! Laughing

Well the advert appeared this morning about the new look website coming in September, hopefully this will coincide with a refresh of the on screen look.

Didn't someone a few pages back claim to know someone working on a new set of graphics? I think they'll sort the graphics out but I'm not convinced there will be a new set, although they could just replace the 'window' frame and that would make the set so much fresher and wouldn't cost that much as opposed to a completely new set.

If the new titles are to be introduced, it'll be when Fiona returns.

I don't think the set or any drastic changes will be made.
