No Clips around yet, but I saw 20mins between 6 & 7am, and thought he was very good.
Able to chat just like when he did Sports, Sat comfortable, at ease and didn't stare at auto cue.
Didn't he used to be at Sky though, if so, then he should be ok anyway.

Any Forumers in the know about what is going to happen to GMTV / Daybreak at the Weekends

I highly doubt there is a weekend edition of Daybreak, I said some time back they opened the daybreak website, there was no weekends mentioned and I would have assumed a large promotion would be required. Plus no weekend presenters have been announced and by now we would have known.
So my assumption is no Daybreak weekends. Normal ITV1 programming such as childrens.

As in January 1st 1993 - September 3rd 2010....? I doubt it, although it would be criminal if GMTV didn't get a good send off, even if they played the old theme tune, that would be a nice touch. As it's merely the case of ITV deciding to change the programme (rather than a result of Maggie and then the ITC) I doubt there'll be a big send off, other than the fact they have a skeleton crew for the week, I would have thought it'll be business as usual up until well after 9am on Friday.

Na can't see a huge send of like the TV-AM days. That was done mostly due to the loss of the franchise. A totally different situation here and I don't think people think as much of GMTV as TV-AM.
