Hmm. Well, I'll cut them some small slack due to the restrictions in filming/recording programmes this year and not jamming up the early evening with back to back films, but..
If I was a scheduler/controller, I would avoid to the last strand, repeating one of the major programmes from last year in peak on the 24th, 25th or 26th and on those days focus on between 3pm and 'joins BBC News Channel' to have all new programming on.
Christmas Eve 8.40.. is what I'm on about. 22nd, 23rd, 27th, 28th yes. Give it another run.
But chuck it back out, slap bang in the middle of the evening on one of the three 'major' days at the end of the year? No.
Christmas Eve is really poor for BBC One, Gavin and Stacey - really? I presume it's last year's one, but you never really know with the BBC. Why not have Ghosts and Pandemonium (or whatever it's called) on Xmas Eve? They've been pushed to 23rd and 30th respectively.
Oh, and it gets better, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, as the NYD movie, instead of How To Train Your Dragon 3 which is pushed to 2pm.
A Kung Fu Panda triple bill in Christmas Eve morning is a bit overkill.
Shame to see that the Vicar of Dibley is not being shown on Christmas Eve night like it usually does. We do know that all 3 Christmas episodes are being shown along with new bits added on to the end of them - but it doesn’t look like they’re going to get an airing on the main Christmas nights.
Gavin & Stacey was always going to get a repeat showing - though didn’t think it would be prime time Christmas Eve.
I think the schedule as as much as could be expected given the difficulties of filming this year.
Given many people will be spending Christmas Day without their families this year, I’m surprised BBC One is not doing some kind of bring-the-nation-together Christmas Morning Live type show.

Probably costs too much to do Morning Live at Christmas.
A big comedy repeat on Christmas Eve isn't too unusual but usually alongside something of note.

Christmas Eve is very weak. I knew they'd repeat last year's G&S but i'd expect it somewhere like the 29th Dec, not front and centre on Christmas Eve.
I thought they might have had it late on Christmas Day, either after the news or MBB, but I agree it being an odd pick for Christmas Eve. I was expecting a movie premiere in that slot
