ITV have Tipping Point and Catchphrase Christmas specials from 4.45pm to 6.45pm on Christmas Eve then presumably after the soaps it's Epic Gameshow at 8.15pm followed by Birds of a Feather at 9.15pm.

They are launching The Masked Singer on Boxing Day at 7pm, followed by Family Fortunes and Celebrity Millionaire. Dancing on Thin Ice airs at 9pm on New Years Day.

Was slightly worried about reports that The Snowman was only going to be on Christmas Day - glad to see its traditional Christmas Eve slot remains.

I wonder why Channel 4 don't repeat We're Going on a Bear Hunt?

Oh dear, I just bought the disc for that Surprised

But yes, that’s a good choice. Any signs of Thor: ragnarok yet?

New Year's is here too:

All of the Julia Donaldson adaptations are obviously going to be a banker, but it's a bit odd to leave the one that actually mentions Christmas (Stick Man) till the 31st.

Two helpings of The Tiger who Came to Tea though. I'm not complaining, it was lovely.

Any word on which version of The Italian Job?

Oddly there has been no announcement of the 2021 Julia Donaldson animated short and usually they announce it a year in advance. I know they'll be a new Shaun the Sheep short next Christmas as they announced that in February

As its sitting in a two hour scheduled slot and (before you add any commercials on) the 2003 film has a running time of 110 minutes compared to 99 for the 1969 version... Wink

23:35 on Christmas Eve and 23:25 on Christmas Day. No teatime bulletins, so barely.

Also they are going into Christmas mode a day early as there are no full length Six and Ten or full length regional news magazines on the 23rd
