Series 4. That was actually quite common in Series 3 and 4. There were lots of things that would probably be done again in a modern programme but were just left in 1984/85. That is what gives Bullseye some of it's charm IMHO. One of the tankards fell off the top of a car and got smashed in one episode, a props guy was late in bringing the chairs out in another episode and when he got caught on camera he froze like a rabbit in headlights.
Just watched an old episode of Bullseye (series 2 I think). Sharon Davies was throwing for charity and the final score on screen was different from what Tony Green said.

Saw that on Facebook this morning, fantastic news.
Weird to think the best thing to happen to Challenge in years is that it got bought by Sky.
Supermarket Sweep and Going for Gold return soon to Challenge. The Supermarket Sweep episodes are from the classic version and Going for Gold starts from series 1.

I know - didn't see this coming. With the original news that Sky were to takeover and move Challenge to Freeview, I felt sure they were burying it. In actual fact as Sky's influence has increased the channel has continued to improve.
I wonder if, had Flextech continued, it would have been killed? It certainly felt like it was being lined up for the scrapyard in the last year of VMTV ownership.

All the channels kept by sky seemed to have been improved and have been given a new.lease of life. I wonder what bravo could have been lile.

Just seen the trailer for Challenge (before going back to Blockbusters), Is Going for Gold and Supermarket Sweep returning or is this an older trailer just updated with clips of Blockbusters?
