The episode of Fun House shown earlier this evening had all audio references to the weekend removed. Like the crazy episodes where Pat Sharp has two voices but this one only had the voice that doesn't mention the weekend left in. I assume this was done before Challenge[TV] got hold of the episode as it would seem an odd choice to go with the butchered version and not the original weekend mentioning version if they had a choice.
I'm surprised they're even trying. In the Flextech/VMTV days they were quite clear that those episodes were now unobtainable. I guess perhaps there are no personnel from that era left running the channel.

It makes you wonder why they are bothering too. I'm sure there isn't a big enough audience who really care whether they show those episodes over some of the newer ones.

Yes. Particularly when you consider the amount of times they've repeated those 80 or so episodes of Blockbusters (despite there being the lion share of 10 years worth of it available).
Huh? Series 1 of Catchphrase should already be in their hands - they aired it before, when Challenge TV first launched.
Here's the proof, series 1 OP, with the Challenge TV question mark logo DOG. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wg37tHuS-Hw
