Odd celebrity golf programme on Challenge[TV] this afternoon. I haven't seen any golf yet but there has been a lengthy section where Snooker's Willie Thorne interviews Big Brother's Craig Phillips and Strictly Come Dancing's Len Goodman. Was this advertised at all? I didn't know it was on so missed the beginning.
In other news, it seems that Challenge[TV] have succumb to the practice of putting NEW: before the programme name on the EPG. A very annoying practice.
Annoying indeed, names get cut off as it is without that. Why don't they just put "New episode." in the description, or use (R) to denote reruns (which on Challenge is probably almost everything except TNA wrestling)?

Because they're trying to attract potential viewers who are flicking through the EPG. I find it useful, much quicker than having to press the info button to see if it's a repeat.
Also they have acquired Series 3,4 & 5 of Stars in their Eyes, series 1,2, & 3 of 3,2,1, series 1 and 2 of Celebrity Squares (90s revival), Treasure Hunt series 1 & 2 and series 1 & 4 of Blankety Blank (Terry Wogan).
What a fantastic time for Challenge[TV]. I can't wait to see the early episodes of 3-2-1. I'm not sure about the first series of Treasure Hunt. I will certainly be watching it (unless they do something stupid like put double bills on everyday, I can't commit to that) but it was quite different to the rest of the series and I am worried it won't do that well which could mean the other series don't get an airing. Hopefully the second series will prove there is a demand to see these. I've only ever seen one episode of Terry Wogan era Blankety Blank so that will be a treat too. The programmes featured in the 'First Ever Christmas' aren't all that interesting, the first ever episodes of these programmes have actually been shown on Challenge[TV] quite recently in many cases. I think the new 2013 footage could save it though.
If they could just bring back Challenge Prize Time then it would be perfect.
I'm guessing that the Bullseye episode they have listed as "the first episode" is the one they started off the 1981 series with a few months ago? Unless a miracle has happened and they found the lost few episodes?

Was that not the first episode broadcast? Im sure the first two were never shown hence being wiped. Its a shame there never got the first episode of Blockbusters aswell Or the Wheel of fortunes
