This is a clip from the very first episode. They showed the opening from episode 1 eight series later so where did they get the footage from it back then? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NegZkVCvkKo

Lets check the other 12 epsoide to see if that jackect turns up
Carlton Star yet its never been broadcast since 1981, so who put it on ?
TBH, I didn't think it was that bad! Certainly not as bad as has been described by others - the questions were certainly rock hard! Good to see the ATV introduction, something I have never seen on a programme before apart from on the internet. What I didn't get is that the contestant asked for a 25 pound question even though the other contestant had already got 25 points in the final round of Game 2 - which would had led to a draw rather than a win - seems like she hadn't really thought her strategy out.
Yes, certainly strange to see an ATV endcap followed by a Carlton Star??
I expect in Series 2, we'll get a "Central presents - An ATV Production"...possibly at the end of the show, all 3 logos of ATV, Central and Carlton coming up on screen?

Why did TVS move Bullseye Series 2 to a Sunday afternoon slot ie 2pm while the rest of the network got 5pm?

Nice thought, but I don't think there was any reference to ATV after series 1 - from series 2 t was fully produced, and badged, as a Central Production.
The 'Central Presents' caption (followed by the ATV frontcap) was always played out live, so wouldn't exist on any master copies.

(If I've understood you correctly.)
Plus this is a Central TV format, not ATV on, if that makes since aswell
