Just in - who'll the on the cover on TV Times and TV & Satellite Week for the 11-17th December issues:

TVT: Dennis & Zoe (an EastEnders cover, sorry folks)
TVSW: Johnny Depp (to celebrate the Pirates of the Carribbean premiere on the Disney channel)

Damn them having an EE cover Sad How dare they when Corrie is better at the moment, and I bet they will have an EE cover on WOT as well for the next 3 weeks running Rolling Eyes

On christmas day morning i'd like to see:
7.10 Diggin' it
9.25 Angry Beavers
9.45 1 Mucha Lucha
10.00 Ministry of Mayhem
12.00-12.30 CD:uk
I should've started a new thread but it does fit here...
Anyway what does everyone think?I think Stephen,Holly&Micheal would like that because they could get a bit done before they went to the studio.

Do you not get out much? christmas Day should have programmes different to that of any other Saturday, especially as at 10.00 there will probably a "My Favourite Hymns" Christmas special.

Guess what... this week's What's on TV cover is one for the Nigel Harman barmy army.

This week's TV Times states that the next issue on sale early from Saturday 27th November. I think the issue after that will go on sale the following Saturday the 4th December and then it is the Christmas double issue which will probably go on sale on Tuesday 7th December.
Has anybody seen any sneak previews in the daily newspapers for the rough early Christmas TV Guides this Thursday? I get The Star and so far no previews have appeared although rumour has it a sneak preview appeared in The Sun on Saturday.

First of all what on odd schedule choice to have MoM at 10am, very strange, is this just so that you can have a lie in?
It wouldn't matter about Studio time as a Christmas Day version, like the majority of Christmas Day programmes, would be pre recorded. I think the only programmes live are News programmes and most probably the Church Services.

Thinking back to the last time Christmas Day fell on a Saturday, ITV had GMTV with DiGGiT, then an extended SM:tv from 9:25 until 12:15 and no cd:uk as the Christmas Chart was the weekend before, and I think they then played out the Church Service, I'm not 100% sure though, and this was most probably because SM:tv was getting great ratings.

Where as BBC moved Live & Kicking to an hour earlier and to just two hours long from 8am. I suppose it just goes by what ITV have to put on before the Queen's Speech this year. They could have a Christmas Day cd:uk (as surely they're contracted to every week, unless they move it to Boxing Day or something), and Maybe they've also got a film.

The next issue of the Radio Times is also out on the 27th, just like the TV Times
