I always get really confused when something goes out of date e.g. A chocolate bar goes out of date on 30th April. Does that mean 00:00 on 30th April or 23:59 on 30th April?

I doubt you'd notice a difference if you eat a chocolate bar at 23:59 on 30 April or 0:00 on 1 May.

The cameras moving so fast, hope nobody watching had motion sickness! Didn’t know the cameras could extent to being that tall. Few throwbacks too, Robert Peston and Reeta as the education correspondent. As well as the old look sport - looks dingy to me.

Oh, how times change...

Yes that fast zoom in across the newsroom was used on the Six & Ten for about the first year or so in NBH, I seem to remember. Personally I never liked it. Always felt as though the camera was going to crash into something or someone. Much preferred the gentle pan around the newsroom which was used on the News Channel.

He accidentally picked it up in the rush of fast paced rolling news.

In no way whatsoever was it deliberate. 😉

I don't think we'll ever know the truth on that one. EIther way it's classic McCoy.

I’m sick of seeing the ticker in breaking mode. Constantly flashing away with hours old news, which is important but not breaking news. Like BREAKING is for a story that has maybe broke in the past hour (then the flipper should go back to normal) or a story that is constantly developing e.g. terrorist attack (but should go back to normal when it’s clear there are going to be no more constant developments). Like they need to sort it out, was enjoying when it was in normal mode for a few hours this afternoon.

Possibly a technical fault or shortage of Human Resources to input the updates due to reduction in personnel numbers in the relevant office?

But you’re right. It’s been flashing the same thing for hours on end.
