Thanks for the reminder that I could be screwed tomorrow!

No one really knows for certain, the conditions for snow to fall are actually a very narrow and specific range of parameters, (there's plenty of truth in the expression, too cold to snow ). Just carry a shovel, big coat, and boots in the back of your car, and hope for the best. After all, it is February !

Thanks for the advice. Now I just need to get a shovel... and a car.

Well there you go, you'll only be 50% screwed, rather than 100%

Sod’s law: It snowed heavily one year where I live. Bought snow shovel afterwards in anticipation for future years.

It has not snowed heavily since.

With any luck and enough snow, my school will be closed and I'll be 0% screwed (in my dreams!).

Sounds like a good investment if its had that effect!

Interesting difference in the forecasts for where I am. The BBC Weather app powered by MeteoGroup has light snow scheduled every hour from 2am-12noon. The Met Office has dry weather until light snow from 5am and then heavy snow from 6am-10am.

It’ll be interesting to see which, if any, is actually correct.

The Weather Channel app is claiming snow showers between 1100-1500 tomorrow for my area, BBC/Meteogroup say it's cloudy.

My Met Office, BBC/Meteogroup, AccuWeather and Meteorologisk institutt apps are all predicting different weather all week. Based on previous, recent, experience I’ll stick with Meteorologisk institutt from Norwsy (Yr) which has been consistently correct.

AccuWeather for my area in Northern Ireland is just terrible! The only thing that is correct is the weather now!

The Norwegian Meteorological Institute app almost matches the Weather Channel app for snow showers in my part of London tomorrow.

BBC/Meteogroup is still going for cloudy weather during the same period with light snow tonight.

Never bet against yr.no....
