Sorry folks, i've been trying for the past couple of hours, but I can't get the images to upload. It says 'error reading from remote server' so I presume it's something i've done! Will try again next week.

Christa was the Programme Director at Aire, I'm not sure what the timings were but she may well have been Peter Levy's boss!

And now he's her equal as both are primary presenters!! I've met Christa three times and I think she's puzzled by me!! I genuinely believe she thinks I'm a nutter, which oddly, is what other people think about me too!!

As for the posters, we didn't seem to get very many 'Christa' posters in Sheffield. Personally, I find her arrogant and very over-rated.

She is a bit over-rated really, the other 'calendar girls' the likes of Christine Talbot and Gaynor Barnes are just as good

Someone who I think is underused and should be given more to do is Vicky Locklin who lately is stuck on Calendar South bulletins broadcasting to a very small number of people

So anyone care to make idle speculation about the new look ?

Do you expect to see a new large desk with use of plasma screens with views of the region in the background, a bit like Granada Reports.

Or a combined soft / coffee table type Central News affair ?

I think Cathy Killick's as good a presenter as Christa is and should do a two-week rotation with her.

Anyone think that when Peter and Paul teamed up with Christa in the evenings, they totally overwhelmed her?

I've been thinking about what they could do, but there really is no way of knowing. Perhaps they'll introduce the regions via a big screen, will the chevron make a comeback, will there 10 giant, pink, fluffy balls dangling from the ceiling, will Christine and Duncan present from a couple of spacehoppers behind a tank of fish?

It would be nice for a joined soft area on so the can 'stroll' over. I hope they have a proper desk though. News from a coffee table just doesn't work I don't think. And I hope they don't go the way of most regions and introduce a DOG.

Well I expect they will go for a fairly traditional desk, I don't know how they will improve on that vertical plasma screen, the current blue backdrop did look fairly similar to the blue backdrop before that and could actually have been the same one, maybe they may keep the blue

A joined soft area would be good and considering that the Calendar studio does seem to be fairly big (what with the Calendar desk, soft set, Tonight Kitchen and the other areas used for The Buzz and musical acts etc), they maybe could build a soft set whist the current one is still there

They must have heard me mention Vicky Locklin as she was on today!, from the broomcupboard so perhaps they are putting final touches to the new studio.
I would also like to see the chevron return, perhaps on the captions like Tyne Tees

Well, I hope Calender's set remains subtle and restrained. It would be terrible to see Central west-esque tackyness and clashing colours take the place of the current modern beige and blue look.
And please, DON'T give calender it's own logo!!

It's yet another Bank Holiday tommorow (and then after this one there is only another one before Xmas what a thought!)

Anyway, I wonder who will present Look North, so far this year it always seems to be two of Charlotte Doney, Tom Ingall, Danny Savage and Ian White.

I'm predicting Charlotte Leeming followed by Ian White

Calendar could be anyone from about 6 or 7 people

If there's going to be a Belmont-only early evening bulletin tomorrow then I'm almost certain Peter Levy will do the deed.....
