Holby should have been cancelled
. I can see that show getting some of it's lowest ratings up against the England World Cup Semi Final.
What would you suggest they place up against it? Nothing? An old style test card maybe? A generic and unimaginative BBC1 show is no big deal surely and as good/bad as anything else. Should it even really matter what is scheduled?
I wonder how many people get just too nervous at massive sporting events like this that they decide not to watch it live but wait for the result and then watch it afterwards knowing the score, so they can watch it relaxed rather than tense.
Just pray it's not an England v Belgium final with a win for the latter that gets Brussels crowing at us. That really would be like rubbing salt into the wounds after todays political news, but would at least unite us all
(except most of the Scots)

They should put a loop of One-ness in its place

If you include time shifting and iplayer, I don't think it will do that badly.

The Daily Mail is saying that should England make the final (no matter what the result of the final is) a Celebration Parade will happen next Tuesday in London. I imagine BBC One will show it live and so possibly might ITV as well. But due to the fact the FA think one for finishing third or forth rewards failure one will not happen if England lose tomorrow.
