Nothing much to add that hasnt already been said, The lighting engineers need to try again as it's just making the screens washed out.

That’s the problem with having a diffusion filter over the walls (as most close-to-camera LED walls do to avoid moiré effects). Due to the walk’n’talk nature of KB soft lighting is used and that’s causing it to look washed out.

Not at all a fan of the lack of desk for Kay. Seems very gimmicky and the type of idea you’d find in the early 2000s, not 2020.

Has Kay even sat down since 2005?

There was an occasion in Studio 21 back in 2019 where the desk height drive broke and she sat down then...

Be good to see it without the soft lighting then and maybe some proper black wrap to avoid spill on the screens. If it's a lot better, maybe Kay needs to just bite her tongue and use it, as right now it's not great.

I looks better on AOP with a desk. The screens also don't seem quite as washed out now.

It does look better but I do think having the huge monitor protruding out the desk, rather than being hidden inside the desk like most over news programmes, does look rather silly and clunky.

Much better contrasts now. What I'd this strange iron like looking logo on the desk?

So, Millbank has now become just another bland Sky studio. Such a shame as its predecessor was the only thing keeping Sky visually interesting. As others have said, I fail to see what the hype was about...they could switch to studio 6 and no one would notice.

I am slightly biased but I think overall it looks good, and it's good there's now consistency between the two studios at Osterley (21 and 6) and Millbank. The two City studios (2 and 3) are now the style exceptions, but we're not seeing those sets at the moment due to Ian King doing his show from home.

There’s two city studios? I seen Sam Washington presenting Ian King Live from the business studio the other week.

A show that feels to me that it’s lacking a title. They seem to not want to call it the ‘Sarah Jane Mee Show’ while she’s on maternity leave, which of course makes sense, so at TOH it was “Sky News with Sarah Hewson”.
