Lowest-ever ratings for BBC Breakfast yesterday - just 1.22m (39.9%) compared to 690k (23%) for Good Morning Britain.

The latter is on course to beat Breakfast in September. Bye bye Breakfast-lead.

Didn't you say this in a April, May, June and July? Did it ever happen? I think not...

1.22m is unheard of for a weekday edition of BBC Breakfast, even during the summer. This time last year, it was averaging 1.4m in August.

Do you seriously think GMB will beat Breakfast in September? Discussion of ratings like this pointless

So GMB is still getting just over half the viewers of Breakfast?

Have you forgotten that you were given a warning back in June for posting such drivel?

Still waiting for Naga and Emily to leave the BBC for GMB.

The share was a tad under 40% which suggests that the total numbers of viewers when it on was lower than usual, I wonder if the GCSE results day may have had an impact.

Keep up, Jonwo. They’re no longer going to GMB. But they’re both leaving to revive RI:SE.

RI:SE with Emily and Naga has a nice ring to it.

That’s actually not what I meant, Neil. Lol. Seriously.

I know this has been asked before: did Charlie ever present any other format of BBC News outside of Breakfast? Same with Dan?

Charlie would be quite good on a network bulletin, I guess.
