While I'll agree with that annual lighting tests and equipment testing will probably be taking place also, as well as some tarting up of the rough edges

New graphics but same studio just a new colour. It looks like all bulletins are being branded as Granada Reports. It's a shame we couldn't have moved to Media City UK today and has the new studio with the new look.

They really need to just say "Granada Reports" instead of that disjointed mouthful "This is ITV News. Welcome to Granada Reports".

Could it be because every other region pretty much just used 'Tonight' after the name of the region, so there wasn't as much to lose?

Just watching the lunchtime news and I think the studio looks much better. Years ago it was always knows as Granada Reports anyway whatever time of the day. It was in 1990 when it became Granada Tonight and the short bulletins became Granada News.

Does anybody know if when Granada move to Media City UK (Most likely March according to Media City UK Website) if we will see a new studio then?

In effect it is like 2006 all over again and back to the Teal look.
