Granada Reports

And the presenter said "Welcome to ITV News, coming up on Calendar tonight..." and then all future references called it Calendar. Can't say I blame them, having the ITV News in front of the programme name is a bit of a mouthful... and in most cases, a sentence syntax error. Everyone knows that it should be The X News, not The News X (X in this case being the region name).

I don't see why they're attached to the Granada Reports brand - they didn't mind dropping it in the 90s, and I've always thought Granada Tonight was a better name anyway.

My suggested fix:

Presenter 1: "Good evening, this is ITV News."

Presenter 2: "Tonight, Grenada Reports..."

Hi All, does anybody know if when Granada Reports moves to Media City UK we will have a set similar to ITV News with a different backdrop?

Notice this week the SKY EPG now says ITV News Granada Reports.

I know we found out that Granada Reports moves to MediaCityUK in March, but Lucy Meacock wrote on Twitter on Thursday (7th Feb) that the programme moves in 4 weeks' time.

Presumably they'll launch on a Monday, so we're looking at 11th March.

Do you think we will see a Studio which replicates the London one and ITV News?

Not sure if it exactly replicates them, but I believe it is a new design. Think the studio has a big window, maybe this will form part of the set.
