Yes, sometime between now and the Olympics.
Great news! I wish the BBC News showed more content from the website on its iPad app (and others). It feels too standalone and needs to have the sort of navigation that the website has, as well as layout. Sky News, I feel, has a more functional and bigger content base for their app.
What about a BBC Weather app? iPad users really need a proper weather app.
Are the BBC still planning to launch a BBC Sport app?

I wish they would have some consistency with regards to the station's navigation. The programme pages look a bit odd having the navigation links in a list below the station's logo, instead of in a horizontal menu/bar below the logo.

The BBC Radio 5 Live and 5 Live Sports Extra websites have the first radio pages that have been converted to the new programmes format. Examples:
The Danny Baker Show: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00mjjxr
Cricket: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00cp6mn
The schedule pages also have a new look.
I wouldn't be surprised at some point to see the radio header from http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/ appear at the top of the new programme pages, though for some reason the header on that radio homepage has been shifted down slightly, leaving a gap between it and the main header, which looks a bit untidy to me.
Also you can now personalise the stations that appear on the radio homepage, although it struggles to remember my selection and keeps reverting to the default line-up.

A spell checker would be nice, as well as punctuation.
