God, imagine if Fox News were based in Washington.

I hope that is you being sarcastic?

I don't think it's sarcasm. I think it's a freaking scary thought. The idea of Fox News having unfettered access to this White House, even more than it does, gives me chills.

OK, I just thought they were pretending not to know Fox News has studios in DC. Yes, Fox News has complete access to this current White House, with sources showing that Mr Trump has appeared on Fox News Channel more than any other news outlet.

NBC has opened their NBCU Boston Media Centre combining the operations of the its NBC Boston, Telemundo New England, NECN 24hr News, NBC Sports Boston into one facility. Rather than be scattered around Greater Boston.
The huge newsroom looks pretty cool. It appears that it the combined newsroom hold staff from NBC Boston,Telemundo and NECN. Rather than each channel having separate spaces. Not sure about NBC Sports Boston, but its likely they are sharing the same newsroom as well.

Following on the tragic death of NBA legend Kobe Bryant and his young daughter all the LA tv stations went into the full coverage mode. Dumping sports coverage. (almost unheard of)

KCBS is now showing the Grammys, KNBC still has rolling news.

Also worth noting that the Philly locals are also making a big thing out of the news with Kobe being from Lower Merion, WPVI have already sent a reporter out to LA to cover the story from a Philadelphia perspective.

KELO TV- Sioux Falls SD. This is an extremely small market. And the region they cover is quite large. This is a massive upgrade for such a small market. Having said that, its a NexStar designed set. Most likely from their in-house "design" team. Ive never been a huge fan of sets designed by NexStar. Because they are usually a jumble of panels and lighting gels and textures. It usually turns out to to be a mess. This set is no exception. They usually do those sets for their small markets.

As someone who was born and raised in South Dakota and grew up watching KELO, this is a big deal for them. They might be a small market in terms of population but they have viewers in at least 4 states, and depending on where you live in ND or WY you can get them. KELO is the standard for news in the region and has been for decades, they have always had the best talent, graphics, weather and content, now they can add the best set to that list. I'm so glad they finally have a real space for their daily lifestyle show "KELOLAND Living". The only thing I would change is the red chairs, I would have done white or black because one of the guys (Brady) wears pretty extravagant suits and all of the ladies wear conflicting colors. The new graphics are ok, with such a large viewing area I don't like only one picture in the open - they use to show 3 or 4 shots across the area - and of course branding as "KELOLAND Media Group" is a bit odd. I wonder if they'll make any changes to "KELO Weather Now" which is basically a local 24/7 weather channel, the graphics are like 3 refreshes old now. Either way good for KELO, now if only they'd leave that old, outdated building and Philips ave for a new one.....

CBS appears to have used Studio 47 for an entire broadcast for the first time since it was renovated. 47 was the home of the CBS Evening News until 2016. Looks like we might be seeing more of it in election coverage.

It's Super Tuesday in the US, and there's lots of special coverage tonight.

ABC, CBS and NBC are all live from 8-11pm ET (1-4am UK). As usual, the cable news channels are starting their coverage earlier - CNN is starting at 4pm ET (9pm UK) and MSNBC and Fox are on from 6pm ET (11pm UK).

NBC is using the studio previously used for Megyn Kelly Today as its Election HQ.

Looks like this thread needs to be retitled since there is a thread about NBC News and MSNBC running for nearly two years.
