Katherine, look at my edited post above.

Yes, but I think that that apology won't do - a simple 'sorry' is all you need to post. You don't apologise and then simply repeat the argument after you've said it. It sends you back to Square One.

David H, I would much rather you stick to the NE & Cumbria thread, and leave us alone. Reception of YTV in York is widespread, both in the centre and near the Univesity as I've seen it for myself.

Calendar and Look North (Y&L) give considerable coverage to the York and North Yorkshire, as does North East Tonight and Look North (NE&C).

Aston is a very valued contributor to this forum, and in particular this thread, having cleared many things up that were previously unknown/unconfirmed.

I think that sums it up Simon. I'd just agree to disagree if I were you David. Now play nicely children. Smile

We had overkill of that "Voices" trailer there

BBC Y&L opted out and showed the Voices trailer with BBC Radio Leeds branding

Then after Look North with Peter Levy, they opted back to network who showed the same trail with BBC Local Radio branding!

I'll consult with my correspondent on this one, and inform you in due course!

Well Tom said he'd see us on Monday on Friday, so I presume she won't be back then.

The fishy goings ons are continuing on Calendar

Andrew Knight today presented Calendar News and Sport on his own from the bulletin studio

Yesterday Jason McCartney presented it from the soft set

Both these bulletins usually come from the desk set...?!

Prior to 1974, all of North Yorkshire (including Middlesborough - which use/still is in God's County) got YTV. With the franchise renewal in that year, most of North Yorkshire got a better picture from Tyne Tees.

Well if you are going to read books in the library, at least read the right ones! The three Ridings of Yorkshire are set up by a Royal Charter going back eyons of time ago. They have, and can never be repealed. As for Cleveland, this went back in 1996. Please try harder.

Has anybody noticed the posters for Calendar? They show Christine Talbot dancing with that guy off GMTV. Is anything going to happen tonight?
