TF1 is apparently getting a fresh new look for 2021 and there'll be a press conference about it on 5th January, according to Lenodal.
Also France 5 is also getting some new idents with a new orchestral sound and a more human approach. Here's a sneak peek of the new look.
Are they ditching TF1's historic logo?? I hope not! BTW Sh1ruba where did you hear this news about TF1's new look? Is there an article about it?

I heard about it from Lenodal, there's a thread on their forums mentioning that TF1 will have a press conference on the 5th January and they will show off the new branding.

This will be in French btw, so use Google Translate.
Franceinfo didn't stay on to cover the the UK going "independent" this evening, they played the weather forecast, a Covid trailer and then straight into France 24's coverage at midnight local time.
I suspect that there will be some job-swapping going on in FTV's news presentation this January.
There is speculation on French forums that Carole Gaessler will move to Franceinfo to present
Le 17h:19h
, which would be the first time she'd not be a lead presenter on France 2 or France 3 in about 20/25 years I think.
This is probably correct as Arnaud Moreau was announced as moving to Lille at the end of this morning's Franceinfo matinale, which would release Virna Sacchi to be "titularisée" and replace Carole Gaessler - Virna Sacchi got a few record audiences for the 19/20 this year so it would be plausible.
It would mean that each part of the Franceinfo weekday is led by a presenter who either was once the titular presenter of France 3's bulletins or France 2's Telematin updates (bar radio simulcasts and "VIPOL"). It does give the impression the channel has become somewhat of a dumping ground unfortunately.

Exactly why Sophie Le Saint is hardly ever on her afternoon shift on Franceinfo.
You can see why Marie-Sophie Lacarrau left for TF1 as it appears with their female presenters slowly get relegated down the pecking order and then end up on Franceinfo.
If true, Virna Saachi would be an excellent replacement for Carole Gaessler on 19/20 National.
As for Franceinfo, it's frustrating also how some of their strong female talent are relegated to such poor shifts, Sorya Khaldoun is on weekend 23h, Myriam Bounafaa who was outstanding at the launch of the channel appears occasionally on weekend filler such as Vrai au Fake while you never see Alix Dauge outside La Matinale or rarely contributing to TéléMatin.
