Not really, I am sure the side pannels can be moved for special features. Interesting to watch though.
I think they sit on Unicol stands with the X shaped wheel systems in the boxes, allowing shifting and changing.
That would be an interesting choice of mounting... Have you seen this yourself, or is it what you've been told?
For some movable bits of set, I'd knock something together using the same box section the sets seem to be made of (from the Look East timelapse), and stick some box standard (locking heavy duty) castors into the bottom - after all, it's how everybody else does it.

I was told that it's a 'unicol style' job whereby the castors are on an X shaped frame and the box is affixed to the pole.
ITV's The West Country Tonight is having a few technical problems, and they've just apologised to Freeview viewers for the problems, and also the bottom third of the screen has an opaque box across the bottom of the screen which is over exposing colours from the set and the graphic.

Was it like this constantly or on and off? I tuned in to The West Country Tonight half-way through and noticed no problem on ITV1 West.
Only happened to Freeview viewers apparently in the old ITV Westcountry region - they were running the transmitter on reduced power for some reason according to ITV West (Bristol).
