Noticed on ITV News West Country (East) that they're using the daytime backdrop two weeks early. It's still dark at 6pm until the 28th.

Don’t forget, sunset is 20 minutes later in the West Country than in London at the moment.
Just realised you’re probably talking about the Bristol programme, where it is about 10 minutes later, but still it isn’t going to be dark until after the programmes gone off air.

Completely different editions of The West Country Tonight this evening.
Kylie Pentelow was outside Bristol Police Station for the East sub-opt to cover yesterday's protest/riots.
Jonty Messer and Cari Davies presented a standard buleltin for the South West.

It only seems to appear on Politics West on Sunday mornings.
I don’t think it been used on screen for nearly a year ( I could be wrong ) but the points west desk is being moved out of the studio today to go to a new home.
