I think the set looks horrible. Far too garish, it looks very dated.

The studio looks quite nice, Kay's got a new chair and the screen is positioned so it's over the shoulder of guests (displaying the title card). There's a new wrap on the top of the desk which matches the title card and the yellow/ orange lighting is better than the orange attempt used for The Newshour.
Nice to see some different shots of the Millbank studio - including Kay standing at the TOTH

Would be nice to see the room with the touch screen formerly used for Sky News Tonight in use.

I think somebody mentioned a new set for Millbank in the new year. Can't come soon enough if you ask me, it's just not versatile enough for Kay's show - as nice as it looks for All Out Politics and SNT.

I welcome the studio looking different for breakfast but the orange colour really makes the skin tone look off Shocked

Not a massive fan of the framing of the guest shot to include the full screen, unless the guest is positioned perfectly, they end up being framed far too much to the right. Also, would it not make more sense for show branding to be included on Kay's shot instead?

Thanks for the caps but ahh yuck 🤢

Why don’t they take some of the colours from the title and blend them or can they only be lit one colour at a time?

Kay confirms Millbank will get a 'complete refresh' in the new year!

All of Kay’s instagram filters are like from someone on an iPhone 4 in 2012 and don’t really know what they’re doing and worsen their photos 😂

I can't understand why the flagship show is using a set design they have moved away from for their other studios.

I may be wrong, but I got the impression from Kay’s tweet that the whole channel is to undergo a brand refresh in the new year; rather than just Millbank. All the ingredients are there for it - new owners (who are also in the final stages of launching a sister news channel), a few recent new sets that all seem very temporary (relit Kay set, new business set), and a move away from the old simple news format back to the personality driven shows.
