Indeed, if you saw this on the news channel then it is exactly what should happen. The studio output goes through a viz engine for lower thirds which are styled to appear appropriately on each network. The world style doesn’t have a U.K. clock, has a World News logo and patch and includes a local time tag on live locators for example.
If you saw this on BBC World News then there is a big problem!

Not that big a problem in the grand scheme of things. I've seen the World News lower thirds on the NC a few times, complete with World News Countdowns all playing out on the NC.

I assumed it was Millbank with the NBH images on the screens.
I would second this - those are definitely the Millbank chairs, you can see the layers of glass at the edge of the desk (which you wouldn't see if it was Studio C as its desk has a border) and there is a metal rail behind the presenter on the Studio C rostrum.
Here's Studio C from a similar angle for comparison.
Outside Source logo seen on the balcony studio from the live newsroom background of Studio E, though as of tonight OS is still airing from Studio C by the look of things.
A close-up from studio view, obviously captured way long while ago pre-COVID.
Aren’t the newsroom Christmas trees normally up by now? Perhaps we aren’t getting them this year because of COVID, or more likely because of E simulcasting with World. Back in TC7 they used to move News 24’s tree in N8 for overnights.
