Rehearsals ongoing for the new show which starts on Monday, replacing Business Live.

Karin Giannone has tweeted that she’ll present twice a week (Wed and Thurs) with Sally Bundock, with other co presenters on other days.

It’ll also be simulcast on the BBC News Channel.

This came out of the blue......

Sounds like it'll still have two presenters

Gutted that Business Live is being axed. I'm sure Work Life will be as informative, but it sounds like a feature from a women's quality magazine rather than a programme focused on business news.

Can’t imagine it’ll be that different from Business Live.

I don't like the look of this at all.

Doesn't seem like much thought was put into it.

Good to see David Eades and Karin Giannone get regular slots - two of BBC World’s very best and underused.

As for the new show, let’s wait and see but I can’t say I’m convinced on first glance. Seems a change for change’s sake and given the various Live names on the BBC (Politics, Newsroom, Afternoon) seems an odd one. Worklife too is a simply awful name as well.
msim and London Lite gave kudos

I wonder if it's been done to differentiate it from Talking Business which is also on BBC World News.

From what Sally mentioned on her video, it seems they're trying to shoehorn a dash of human interest into the bulletin.

I want a proper 8am news bulletin on the news channel, breakfast is too light and lifestyle

Let me get this straight...they're launching a programme called "Worklife" at a time when most working people in the UK will already be at, or on the way to, work? Rolling Eyes
