Yes, replacing Business Live, a show which aired when most business people would be, well, doing their business.

Do they know there's already a separate BBC brand called Worklife? I wonder if they'll rebrand this to match the show?

Yes, that's one of the international, but rather Americanised, BBC websites that we can also get in the UK. Until recently it was known as BBC Capital.

What?
'International' in that that the website is one of those produced by BBC Global News Ltd, with no licence fee money going towards its creation, but is nonetheless available to users in the UK. 'Americanised' in that the style of writing in the articles on the site has always struck me as tending towards American English - for example the use of the phrase "on the weekend" in this article: https://www.bbc.com/worklife/article/20150402-how-to-do-everything-faster . Not intended to be a criticism - just an observation.

Sally Bundock (in a tweet to Ben Thompson) refers to a UK-opt segment of the show, where she promises to “hook” Ben into Worklife for the opt.
Otherwise, in the same conversation, Ben reveals that he’s now full-time with BBC Breakfast, and won’t be part of WorkLife, per se.
One change it does seem to bring is that it will be double headed by BBC World while Business Live was presented by someone from BBC World and someone else from BBC News channel

I'm presuming this is more due to Steph McGovern going on maternity leave after this run of Watchdog Live.

Dont understand either there's nothing wrong with Business Live, this sounds like an attempt to mix Business Live with a hint of Victoria Derbyshire for a global audience.
Colour scheme in the studio looks good though, the titles and the music well we will find out soon enough,
Oddly enough World Business Report has outlived all the other business shows on BBC World News.

I think Steph is already on maternity leave from Breakfast.
