Good job they weren't watching just before the one, or after the six when the presenter got lost

'Talking Business with Linda Yueh' appears to come from Singapore, but in a considerably bigger space than where Newsday and Asia Business Report come from, seemingly from a lower level - cream and red are still the dominant set of colours, however!

Yes its in the same office building, Shaw Tower, but its not lower down.

The Newsday/ABR studio is on Floor 12 in the West corner of the building and the view faces southwest towards the Business District, the big cylindrical building is the Raffles Center and the white spire is the war memorial.

The Talking business studio is on the southeast side of the building and looks out over the Suntec City complex. Whilst i dont know what floor this is on, it cant be lower than floor 12 as the architecture of the building changes from Floor 11 down (different shaped windows) and is mostly Car Park/Shopping Mall.

If you're wondering how i know all this, i researched it a few years ago whilst doing a studio mock which i ultimately abandoned because i couldnt get the exact dimensions of one of these larger offices.

I've not seen this before but for the 0845 Business News on the BBC News Channel Victoria was interviewing a guest who had appeared on BBC Breakfast earlier in the morning in their studio. The guest was stood, for the News Channel, in the BBC Sports Centre with the sports news studio behind them.

I'm pretty sure World have done DTL interviews from that spot before...

10:30 - Another camera fault, where the camera is not prepared for a ‘catwalk half past’. It seemed to have stopped pointing towards the floor manager and was moved by the gallery manually and zoomed manually towards Tim. A very ‘un-soft’ movement/zoom towards Tim too.

News channel just fell off the air. Clive threw to the 10:30 weather when we were greeted by The Travel Show end board, followed by the fault caption. Would assume there was a problem queuing in the weather in the gallery.

Interesting re: The Travel Show - it launches this week on both BBC News and BBC World News. There was a show of that name on BBC Two/BBC World in the 1990s. Is this programme a replacement for BBC World's Fasttrack? I don't think travel has been on the BBC News Channel/BBC News 24 schedule since 'Gate 24' ended??

The Travel Show has been on going on BBC World for 2 months now - it is what was Fast Track.

Incidentally The Travel Show now gets an airing in the BBC Two 10.35am slot on Friday mornings (they don't do the Question Time repeat any more).

Not showing this Friday though because of the tennis.
